Baghdad British International School Welcomes Parents from KG1 to Year 6
Our inaugural parent meeting marked a significant milestone in fostering a collaborative partnership between the school and our parents. We emphasized the crucial role of parents in shaping their children’s educational journey, underscoring that success in learning stems from a strong, united front between home and school. The meeting also addressed essential topics such as child protection and safeguarding, ensuring every child’s well-being remains our top priority.
We shared vital school guidelines and introduced our dedicated staff, who are committed to nurturing each student’s potential. The session provided a platform for rich dialogue, where parents learned about the educational pathway at BBIS, particularly regarding our affiliation with the Pearson Edexcel examination board, which opens doors to both local and international opportunities.
Furthermore, parents were engaged in discussions about how BBIS supports students’ progress into secondary education and beyond, both in Iraq and globally. كان اجتماع الاهالي الأول لدينا بمثابة خطوة اولية مهم في تعزيز الشراكة بين المدرسة وأولياء الأمور.
في الاجتماع، أكدنا على الدور الحاسم للآباء في تشكيل الرحلة التعليمية لأطفالهم، مؤكدين أن النجاح في التعلم ينبع من جبهة قوية وموحدة بين المنزل والمدرسة. كما تناول الاجتماع مواضيع أساسية مثل امن الطفل وحمايته، وضمان بقاء رفاهية كل طفل من اهم أولوياتنا.
